There are actually 2 different versions of the yoplait diet. But either one will help you loose weight and get healthy. Yogurt is really healthy for you because it provides protein, healthy bacteria to improve your digestion, vitamin D and calcium. It also comes in many sweet flavors so if you find your sweet tooth to be an issue when it comes to dieting, you are in luck with these two yoplait diet plans.

First, there is the 2 week plan where you eat yoplait for breakfast and lunch along with fruit and a grain, and a small dinner of vegetables and lean protein. It also includes a snack of two servings of vegetables and 3 small servings of other low-fat dairy. This is a low-calorie meal plan that claims you can loose up to 5 pounds in 2 weeks. This really may work for people if you can follow the plan perfectly. But for some the lower amount of calories, about 1200 to 1300 is too low and leads to binge eating. You should try this plan to see if it works for you. If you find you are still too hungry you may want to consider adding in another source of protein for lunch, like a few slices of natural deli meat. Or a small side salad with nuts or a few ounces of grilled chicken breast. This will provide you with extra calories and nutrients but will still limit your calorie intake so you can loose weight. This plan also suggests you walk 30-45 minutes each day, no strenuous workouts required.
There is also a less involved plan for the yoplait diet that you may have heard of from their commercials. It’s called the “Swap a Day Challenge”. Yoplait has 33 different flavors of their yogurts, many are based our favorite special dessert treats that unfortunately are high in calories. For example a slice of cheesecake is at least 300 calories, but yoplait light raspberry cheesecake is only 110 calories. If you replace your nightly dessert or snack with a yoplait yogurt you will be saving at least 200 calories a day. That can add up to over a 20 pound weight-loss in a year. Just one small swap each day can help you loose that much weight. It’s really amazing, and think about other swaps you could make like taking a walk during lunch to burn more calories. Or switching your daily soda to water. Simple things can make a huge impact on your health and life.
